His Word is Truth

Unadulterated Biblical Truth

Misconception: "God will never leave you or forsake you!"

This misconception was mentioned on the introduction page as well.

"Teachers" of the Bible today are randomly grabbing verses out of the Bible, and using them out of context to make their points and teach ideas to people, when often the verses have more to them than is shown, were told to specific people, were used in specific events like a people rebelling, or something that had many conditions which had to be followed, and the teacher fails to mention those conditions.

It is not uncommon that these verses that they use for their teachings, actually contradict their teaching when read in context!

The twisting of scriptures by these people in some cases may encourage others, and the scriptures teach to encourage the lost not discourage them, but when you study the scriptures you will never see a righteous person twisting the Word of YHWH or lying to encourage.

The scriptures teach twisting and lying are attributes of the wicked, and the wicked are going to be sent to the lake of fire.

We do however see someone called the satan twisting scriptures and using them out of context!

He did exactly that when he tempted the Messiah!
 Please never forget this, it can be the key for many to awaken and be set free from the bondage of sin.

For example, YHWH has indeed said before;
"I will never leave you or forsake you"

However, you need to ask yourself, who did he say that to.

Modern teachers take this verse out of context and just go on a spree telling all people in the world;

"Elohim promised he would never leave you or forsake you!"

So people believe it in the wrong context and they go through life with a false comfort and lack of fear for YHWH which causes them to not be diligent in repenting and learning.

They also may cheerfully do things they know they shouldn't, and as well spend their time on themselves rather than for Elohim, thinking they will be fine if they do these things, since they think they will always be loved and never forsaken or left.

However this statement was made to His people, and also directly to Joshua son of Nun.

There are conditions that you must follow to be part of his people, and few are following the instructions of YHWH to be part of his set-apart(holy) people.

It should be obvious, for example, when YHWH told them they would not be forsaken, was he also talking to their enemies that were about to be destroyed by Elohim through them?

He was not, and those enemies were forsaken and punished for their wicked acts, for not following YHWH's instructions.

Yes, many today are unknowingly in the position of those enemies, those people on the outside of YHWH's people, and they're taking the promises to YHWH's people as if it was said to them, when it is confusion to do so.

YHWH's people are those who are loving him and taking part in his covenants, a covenant is a 2 way agreement that requires action.

The average modern Christian is not even able to tell what the covenants are, the old or the new. In fact, if they did know it and recited it in context, they would be condemning themselves because the new covenant itself contradicts modern Christian teachings.

Look at what David has said in the Psalms, he says that YHWH does not forsake his holy ones, but, there is another group of people mentioned and they are not included in this blessing, notice the "but"!;

Psalm 37:28 "For YHWH loves judgment, and forsakes not his set-apart ones, they are preserved for ever, but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off"

So while it should have been obvious that YHWH was not saying such to wicked people in the Bible, and thus the statement should not be told today to all people, especially when most are following the same ways as the wicked mentioned in the Bible that were cut off, I will still give a few more examples.

I will give more examples to help dispel this false teaching that is being taught to the world which is causing everyone to always feel that they're on good terms with YHWH no matter what they're doing.

Please wake up and read in context, fear YHWH, and feel shame for the wrongs you do against him, otherwise the satan will drag you down to hell fire with him.

So see for yourself, even after the verses of him saying
"I will never leave you or forsake you",
he did leave and forsake those who turned away from him and stopped keeping his commandments;

2 Chronicles 15:2 "And he went out to meet Asa and said to him, Hear you me, Asa, and all Yahuda and Benyamin, YHWH is with you while you be with him, and if you seek him he will be found of you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you"

Jeremiah 7:29 "Cut off your hair and cast it away, raise a lamentation on the bare heights, for YHWH has rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath"

Hosea 5:6 "With their flocks and herds they shall go to seek YHWH but they will not find him, he has withdrawn from them"

Lo Ammi is Hebrew for "not my people";
Hosea 1:9 "Then YHWH said, Call him Lo'Ammi, for you are not my people, and I am not your Elohim"

Ezekiel 8:18 "Therefore will I also deal in fury, my eye shall not pity, neither will I spare, and though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, yet I will not hear them"

Isaiah 1:15 "When you spread out your hands I will hide my eyes from you, even though you make many prayers I will not listen, your hands are full of blood"

Isaiah 59:1 "Behold, the arm of YHWH is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear, but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your Elohim, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear"

Isaiah 63:10 "But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit, therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them"

Zephaniah 1:17 "I will bring distress on men, that they shall walk like blind men because they have sinned against YHWH,
and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung"

Deuteronomy 32:5 "They have acted corruptly toward Him, they are not His children because of their defect, but are a perverse and crooked generation. Do you thus repay YHWH O foolish and unwise people? Is not He your Father who has bought you? He has made you and established you"

Jeremiah 15:7 "I will destroy my people, since they do not return from their ways"

These are only simple examples of this fact.
 Large sections of the Bible are about YHWH destroying those who turned away from him and stopped following his Law.
 I don't plan on copying and pasting entire Books of the Bible here, so you can learn of this in more detail once you read the Bible for yourself.

I hope you can now begin to get an idea of how modern teachers are corrupting the Truth and using techniques to mislead us.

The satan did the exact same thing to Yahushua the Messiah when he was tempting him trying to cause him to sin!

The satan quotes Psalm 91:11 from the Bible to try and convince the Messiah he can do something, but the Messiah knew the truth and he rebuked the satan.
 L
earn for yourself, and be wise just as the Messiah was;

First, Here is the scripture that the satan used to try and cause Messiah to sin;
Psalm 91:11 "For he will give his angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways, they shall bear you up in their hands for fear you dash your foot against a stone"

The temptation;
Matthew 4:6 "Then the satan took him to the holy city and set him on the pinnacle of the temple and said to him, If you be the son of Elohim cast yourself down, for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning you, and in their hands they shall bear you up, for fear at any time you dash your foot against a stone, Yahushua said to him, it is written again, You shall not tempt
YHWH your Elohim"

Here is the scripture from the Law that the Messiah rebuked the satan with;
Deuteronomy 6:16 "You shall not tempt YHWH your Elohim as you tempted him in Massah"

So Yahushua the Messiah agrees with the satan that what he said was written, and the satan even quotes the scripture perfectly!
 But Yahushua
then goes on to say it is also written, and then quotes the commandment from the Law to not tempt YHWH.

Be on guard and consider all the scriptures, don't let a false teacher do as the satan did and show you 1 verse out of context trying to get you to ignore hundreds of other verses.

Here are the scriptures, none of them saying that Elohim will always be with you no matter what you do, and none saying you can sin all you want and be blessed by your creator!;

Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous, do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is YHWH your Elohim who goes with you, he will not leave you or forsake you"

Deuteronomy 31:8 "It is YHWH who goes before you, he will be with you, he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed"

Joshua 1:5 "No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life, just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you, I will not leave you or forsake you""

Paul;

Hebrews 13:5 "Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you"

The tactic of "God can not lie!" is often paired with this misconception of "God will never leave you or forsake you!".

I won't cover that misconception on this page, but have placed it as the next misconception on the misconceptions page.
